Site Description:
  • The instrument is located on the roof top of the CIECEM (http://www.ciecem.uhu.es). The building is 1km west of Matalascañas, a tourist village, and 0.8 km from the sea. It is surrounded by a pine tree forest and only 17km east from the former site El Arenosillo. The site is surrounded by the Doñana National Park, one of Europe's most important wetland reserves and a major site for migrating birds. The park itself and surroundings (a protected buffer zone) span over 1300 sq km in the Spanish provinces of Huelva, Sevilla and Cádiz
