Site Description
The instrument will be installed on ground level on an agricultural field (winter wheat) in the floodplain of the Neckar river close to the city of Rottenburg in southwestern Germany. Next larger city is Tübingen. The instrument will be operated for the Swabian MOSES Project which focusses on initiation and development of deep convection and thunderstorms as well as heat waves and drought.
