Site Index
Facing Southeast towards CIMEL, frequent afternoon convection induced by local topography can be observed. Often conditions are similar in all directions of the site (not shown) depending on the prevailing flow during the premonsoon season.
Can Li of NASA's GSFC finalizing installation and educating Prabhakar Shrestha of Duke University and a local KU student on the science and operation of the CIMEL units. Also visible is the solar water heating units which occasionally release steam and water vapour from their fittings.
