Description:

- The instrument is placed in the roof of the Physics Faculty of the University of La Laguna in Tenerife, Canary Islands. It is on a tripod, which is fixed to the roof of the building. The building, a 20 m height is in the city of La Laguna (50,000 inhabitants), very close to the Tenerife North Airport and without any important obstacles for the almucantar or principal planes. Tenerife is in the Subtropical North Atlantic Ocean area, 300 km away from the African coast. The main sources of aerosols are the natural spray marine and the mineral dust from the desert , and the anthropogenic of the local pollution and contamination from Europe that reaches the Archipelago after crossing north Africa.
