Site Description:

  • Toledo Light #2 - Fixed Coast Guard structure in western Lake Erie marking water channel in water depth of 28 feet. Structure serving existing NOAA ReCON station, and water is sampled weekly for NOAA HAB program. Nearest city/town is Monroe, MI, 8 miles away. Toledo is 16 miles from structure to the south. Detroit is 35 miles to the north.
