  • Longitude: 16.65450° West
  • Elevation: 20.0 Meters

Site Description:
  • The sunphotometer was temporally installed on the roof of the IES Las Galletas (Las Galletas, Tenerife) during the SAVEX-FENNEC 2012 field campaign. The site is 1km north from the ocean in southern Tenerife. The surroundings are composed of green fields, greenhouses and also dry volcanic soils. The most important urban conurbation is 60km northeast (Santa Cruz de Tenerife) although minor non-industrialised towns are around the site. The most important source of anthropogenic pollutants is a refinery located in Santa Cruz.
