Site Coordinates and Elevation:

  • Latitude: 16.60667° North
  • Longitude: 104.67611° East
  • Elevation: 166.0 Meters

Site Description:
  • This instrument is located ~10 km from the town of Mukdahan, Thailand and the Mekong River (border with Laos). It is located on top of a building at the Princess Chulaborn's College Mukdahan, approximately 20 meters above ground level. The landscape around Mukdahan is relatively flat within ~2-3 Km of the site but with some steep hills scattered to the west beyond that. The land cover is a mixture of forest and agriculture, but mostly dominated by rice and sugar cane fields.
