Site Coordinates and Elevation:

  • Latitude: 42.53307° North
  • Longitude: 72.18990° West
  • Elevation: 338.0 Meters

Site Description:
  • Photometer is mounted on the Southeast Corner of the NEON observation tower. Tower is metal frame, 127' tall. NOTE: the tower height is NOT included in the elevation stated above in part d. (HARV - Harvard Forest - Harvard University, LTER). Ecosystem around NEON tower and in the tower airshed is Eastern deciduous forest. Canopy height is ~26 m around tower site with lowest branches at ground level.
