Description:

- This photometer is installed at the aerological station of MeteoSwiss at Payerne. The station is located in a rural area in the western part of Switzerland, 40 km southwest of the city of Bern. The station is surrounded by small hills and it is remote from sources of industrial pollution. The region is characterized by a moderate mid-latitude continental climate.
