Site Description
The Rimrock site is located on a farm on the lip of the Palouse Plateau of the Columbia Basin, overlooking the canyon formed by the Snake and Clearwater Rivers. The area is semi-arid with an average rainfall of ~50cm. The native vegetation is bunch grass, however, it has largely been replaced by wheat fields.
