Site Description:

  • São Martinho is located in the area of INPE-Southern Space Observatory – SSO. The station is located on Brazilian Southern sub-tropical climate, in the mid way of the cold fronts usually arriving from the South. AERONET is co-located with BSRN capable SONDA station, sky imaging, and precision ozone monitoring sensors run by local researchers. The site is retired from urban areas and surrounded by agricultural fields.
