Image 1 Image 2   Site Coordinates and Elevation: Latitude: 49.87860° North Longitude: 21.86130° East Elevation: 450.0 Meters Site Description: Sun photometer is installed at the Aerosol and Radiation Observatory in Strzyzow. This siteis localized in South-East part of Poland at the top of a one Carpathian hill in ruralatmospheric conditions. The station is located far from local sources of atmospheric pollutionwhich facilitates representative studies for a wide geographic area. The nearest town Strzyzow(about 10 000 residents) is 5 km from site in the West direction. The largest city Rzeszow(about 200 000 residents) is localized 25 km in the North direction from this station. The sunphotometer is mounted at platform about 7 meters above the ground level. There is a 24 metermast localized 15 meters from the sun photometer in the East direction. Apart from that thereare no obstacles.
