- The UWr observatory platform (Location: 51 06’ 20’’ N, 17 05’ 20’’E, 116.3 m a.s.l.) represents typical Central European urban location. Wroc aw, as other cities in the region, is struggling with typical problems, such as poor air quality related to the combustion of fossil fuels for heating purposes and due to transportation, urban heat island, heat waves, etc. Thus in this context, the scope and extent of our scientific activities provide extraordinary opportunities for carrying out field measurements, developing modelling skills, etc..
