LOGISTICS - Required Calibration Pieces and Packing Instructions
 
 

It is our goal to conduct the calibrations with a minimum of disassembly of Cimel stations as well as to keep down the shipping costs. In most cases we do not need the Cimel robot, external battery, PC, or transmitter equipment for the calibration.

Please include in your shipment:

  • Sensor head
  • Collimator
  • Sensor head cable
  • Connector panel
  • Control box
  • Internal battery pack (not applicable to Model T with orange & white box)

Sensor head

  • Please protect the sensor head lenses by using the plastic cap from the new sensor head (if equipped) or place sensor head inside a plastic bag.

Collimator

  • Place collimator inside a plastic bag to keep debris out of collimator.

Sensor head cable

  • If your site has the sensor cable permanently attached to the mounting platform please notify us and we will provide one for the calibration.

Control Box

  • Please remove internal battery (non-Model T only). The factory installed battery clips fail during shipment and damage can result from moving battery pack.

Connector Panel

  • Please include with shipment
