Image 1 Image 2   Site Coordinates and Elevation: Latitude: 51.77632° North Longitude: 0.09624° West Elevation: 75.0 Meters Site Description: The photometer is located on a gantry 3 m above ground level. Until 13 March 2018 it was 200 m north-north-west, on the roof of a two-storey building on the site of the Bayfordbury Observatory, operated by the University of Hertfordshire. The surrounding countryside consists mainly of agricultural land and woodland. The site is of particular interest because it is rural, but only 28 km north of the London-UCL-UAO AERONET site, which is in a polluted megacity area. Principal Investigator(s) Information: Joseph Z.
