Image 2 - n/a Image 1 Image 2   Site Coordinates and Elevation: Latitude: 46.48750° North Longitude: 116.99167° West Elevation: 824.0 Meters Site Description: The Rimrock site is located on a farm on the lip of the Palouse Plateau of the Columbia Basin, overlooking the canyon formed by the Snake and Clearwater Rivers. The area is semi-arid with an average rainfall of ~50cm. The native vegetation is bunch grass, however, it has largely been replaced by wheat fields.
